Link extension from main house to small utility house.
This project involved the construction of a bespoke link extension connecting the main residence to a separate utility building, creating a seamless and functional transition between the two spaces.
The structure was formed using a steel frame for strength and precision, then carefully built out both internally and externally to achieve a high-quality, fully integrated finish. The design blends traditional Victorian-inspired detailing with a modern architectural approach, resulting in a unique and characterful space.
Externally, the link was finished with a black-painted silicone render and detailed lead work, ensuring a durable and visually striking exterior that complements the existing buildings.
Internally, the space was enhanced with detailed finishing features including decorative coving and traditional-style detailing, alongside a large skylight that brings in natural light and enhances the sense of openness.
The result is a refined architectural link that connects both buildings seamlessly while adding both practicality and design value to the property.
